And so a dream is born...

So I wanted to start off by saying THANK YOU!!!  It is such an amazing feeling when you can create something that you once only dreamed of.  I couldn't do any of this without your support, so again THANK YOU.  I often get asked how this came to fruition?  How did I get the chance to start my own business doing what I love; pampering my guests.

The process was a gradual one.  Believing in myself one baby step at time.  First it was quitting a job I had been at for 5 years.  It paid well but left me feeling completely drained everyday.  So when my husband and I found out we were expecting I took that chance to slow life down a bit.  Our darling girls came quite close together, eleven and a half months to be exact, so for me staying home with them became my focus in life.  I loved being home with them every day to watch them grow and grow they did, so fast!  As daily routines started to find a steady rhythm I found myself wondering what would satisfy me in all aspects of my life?  I loved being a mom but wanted to challenge myself personally and professionally.  I knew whatever it was I needed it to be energizing and uplifting.  I knew I wanted people to be happy to see me and feel amazing when they left.  So the seed was planted and then I realized I wanted to become an esthetician.

Next came schooling.  After being on my kiddo's schedules for two years it was a rough transition to book it to Anchorage all day, every day for several months.  I was terrified.  I didn't want to leave my kids and I didn't know what to expect.  Metroasis ATC was a blessing in my life.  Sue and Sigel made school interesting and enjoyable.  My experience there was one I will always cherish and be so thankful for.  My time there flew by and before I knew it I was done.  Now certified and on my own I wasn't sure what life had in store next.  Lucky for me a local business employed me immediately after school.  The staff there graciously supported a novice esthetician and gave me the foundation to grow my clientele.

Finally, after two years I made the bold decision to start my own business.  It was something I had always wanted but never thought I'd have the courage to carry out.  Now here I am with you building and expanding on my dream every day.  I get to enjoy the important things in life with my family AND have the opportunity to chase a dream.  For me, I have the best of both worlds!  I couldn't be happier and hope I get to do what I love for you for many years to come.

Thank you for your support, thank you for allowing me to dream.

Forever Grateful,
Kristen Hermon
